Anders Onarheim steps down as CEO of BW LPG

BW LPG Limited (“BW LPG”, the “Company”, OSE ticker code: “BWLPG.OL”) announces today that Anders Onarheim is stepping down as CEO with effect from 30th September 2023. The Board of Directors has appointed Kristian Sørensen, Deputy CEO and Head of Strategy, to succeed Anders as CEO.

Andreas Sohmen-Pao, Chairman of the Board of BW LPG, says: “We are very grateful to Anders for his leadership and involvement in the company over the past 12 years. We have benefited tremendously from his experience and insights during his tenure as a non-executive director from 2010 to 2020, and as CEO from 2020 to 2023. We welcome Kristian, who has worked closely with Anders over the past year and will provide a seamless CEO transition.”

Anders commented, “It has been a privilege to lead a great team for the past four years. We have made some important strategic decisions, including our commitment to retrofit the fleet with dual fuel engines, and strengthen our trading operation to enhance our market position.
